The Brothers of OKK works with the Southgate Community Center sorting and organizing donations provided to The Closet.






Washington, D.C. - Third District (Northern Area I and II Chapters) - Brothers of Alpha Omega, Kappa Psi, Psi Nu, Psi Alpha Alpha, Omicron Kappa Kappa, Tau Rho and Pi Lambda Lambda Chapters, Third District, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. participated in the NBC4 and Telemundo 44 Health and Fitness Expo at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on January 12, 2019. The brothers were asked by Brother Kevin Brown, Third District Representative to work with the Black Greek Letter Consortium (BGLC) as requested by Brother Dr. David Marion, 41st Grand Basileus, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Brother Kenneth Barnes, Executive Director, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. initiated contact with Dr. Camille White, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Dr. White coordinated all meetings, conference calls and booth space. The booth space was #701. Dr. White stated that the brothers of Omega came through with great support. Brother Conrado B. Morgan, First Vice District Representative, Third District was tasked by Brother Kevin Brown to take the led for this event. Brother Morgan was successful in getting forty-five brothers from six different chapters to sign up, work the booth and the entire bottom floor of the convention center. The brothers were asked to inform all about #joinallofus.org. They were able to inform several hundred people about precision medicine and the rest of the organizations from the BLGC were able to do the same. The chapters provided gifts for the kids that were raffled off every hour. Tthe kids or parents completed some type of exercise to be eligible for the raffle. The Join All Of Us Project is expected to reach and do research for 1,000,000 people. 85,000 people are expected to attend the expo each year.

On October 20th, 2018 OKK Foundation, Inc. sponsored (2) free pilot workshop sessions conducted by Microsoft at their store in the Tyson's Corner Mall. These two successful sessions were held on October 20th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. The pilot sessions taught youngsters in Grades 3 - 6 how to "Get Creative with 3D in Windows 10".
